Gabriel Rivano

Gabriel Rivano presents his new project “Tango Mediterraneo“, created by the meeting in Bern, in July 2008, with saxophonist Gabriel good fortune, leading dell’Astor Trio.
The extraordinary Argentine bandoneon, behind concerts and tours in the most important theaters in Europe, eleven albums released with internationally renowned musicians such as Carlos Vega and Jose Bragato, and solo, decides to create a new musical challenge, the to merge the original Tango Argentino, with its more modern and contemporary interpretation, influenced by the music and schools of the Mediterranean tradition of his three traveling companions.
The quartet’s repertoire consists of original compositions Rivano and various arrangements of Gabriel and of the same good fortune of pieces by Astor Piazzolla Rivano, some famous, others much more experimental and innovative.
Atmospheres and sounds passionate, vibrant rhythmic, melodic virtuosity, this quartet makes a remarkably immersive training.
